write, don’t call…

June 27, 2009

lar-yn-gi-tis
   pronunciation: \ˌla-rən-ˈjī-təs\
a condition that often strikes quietly and unknowingly; often discovered first thing in the morning when a person tries to speak, and all that comes out are squeaks and croaks.

fat lip

pronunciation: \ˈfat\  \’lip\
A natural phenomena that occurs when a young boys head strikes his mothers mouth.  This very painful occurrence often results in strong irritation, sometimes anger

ex-treme thank-ful-ness

pronunciation:  \ik-ˈstrēm\  \ˈthaŋk-fə-nessl\
What a mother feels when her baby boy successfully digest, and then passes, a foreign object.  Extreme thankfulness occurs when the foreign object was a latex balloon, which was never known to be in the possession, much less the mouth, of the child.

Yes, these all are about me, and yes, it’s been a rough day

Jessica (N): Yuck! Hope things start to get better! Can't wait to hear more about the fat lip and digestion problems this weekend!

Jane: I need to hear more about this . . . . !!! :) Jane

wedding preview

June 27, 2009

Taking wedding pictures is extremely exciting, scary, and nerve wracking all at once.  Take this past Saturday, for instance.  When you have a beautiful day, a beautiful bride, beautiful wedding outfits, (you get the idea here) if the pictures don’t turn out beautiful, there’s just one factor that could be to blame – me!  Now I don’t know about you, but that can tend to stress me out!
Well, things went great.  M&J were so easy to photograph, and such good sports.

“You want me to sit in the grass in my suit?  Sure!”
“Oh, walk out in the grassy field, no problem.”
                     or
“Hey Blake, can you try to chase the peacock into the picture – maybe make a little noise so that it will  open it’s tail.”   We didn’t have much luck with the peacock thing, but it wasn’t because Blake wasn’t trying :)

Here’s a little look into their day – more to come……

blake: Amy these look GREAT!!! I believe i may have a little credit in this...i mean i did do so much :) haha jk

Jessica (N): Looks like fun.....and stress....They look amazing, though!

Jane: Amy-these are gorgeous! Can you take Michael and my pics for when we renew our vows? :) Jane

admin: oh yeah, no problem. do you get a new dress and everything too? if so, i want to renew clint and i's vows too :)

Hey, this is Cline.  My cousin Adler came over to my house today.  I told him that if he wants to fit in around here, his hair can’t be so perfect;  it’s got to stick out, have bed-head, curls or somthing.  So mommy fixed him all up.  Here we are with our cool “do’s” and hunky bodies.

I think Adler wants to be just like me!

Mommy!  He’s got a bigger spike than I do….and more hair too!  See if I give him any more style tips.

winding down

June 16, 2009

Bible School is such a busy and exciting time, but it goes so fast.  Here it is the second week already, and we just have 3 days to go.
Here are a couple more pictures of our students – they’ve been a joy this year!  It does make me wonder what Hudson will be like when he gets into the classroom setting.  Will he be shy or lively, full of questions or full of answers, a leader or follower…..?

little lucy

June 16, 2009

We had another beautiful day to take pictures of Lucy…what a sweetie!  Her gorgeous hair has me wishing that somewhere, down deep, maybe Clint and I have the genetics to produce an auburn haired baby…probably wishful thinking, but who know.
Also, a big thanks to Patty and Gladys, for providing a wonderful place to take pictures – you gals are just great!

Bible School – round 2

Yay!!! We got a sunny day to take the rest of the kid’s pictures for Bible School.  I’ve been wanting to play around with blue skys and lens flare, and for both, ya gotta have sun.

And then here’s one of my favorites.  Favorite picture I mean, not student :)

And they always love to do a “fun” picture – notice the difference between the boys’ pose, and how the girls pose.
