little beauty

Seriously, could little Macy be any cuter?

I think that her mommy was a little disapointed when we couldn’t get any smiles, but when I saw those big beautiful eyes looking at me, those dark little pigtails, the rosy cheeks, well I couldn’t have been more thrilled.

I just  love how these turned out!  Thank you April and Macy for being such good sports out in the winter snow.

Something I’ve noticed about Macy when I’ve taken her pictures in the  past is how she this way of folding her little hands.  Isn’t it SO cute?!

megan moore: Amy, I LOVE that first shot! What a gorgeous image. Macy is just adorable, you did a fabulous job. :-)

’cause now she’s 1!

It sure doesn’t seem like a year ago that I first got to meet a newborn little Bridgett.  It’s been pretty special to be able to document her first year through pictures, and one that I’ve really enjoyed.

and brave little Bridgett even smiled and was so happy while we were  outside in the snow – what a trouper, even though it was just a minute!

our growing girl

January 8, 2011

3 weeks old, and 5 pounds 7 ounces – yay!  (wish I could be that excited when I gained a pound…)

Yesterday, Grandma Kay stopped in and picked up the boys to come play at her house, so that meant that I got a to stay home and have fun taking pictures like I’d been planning to do all week – time does have a way of getting away from a person.

I got everything set up, but little Sunny wasn’t going for it.  I wanted her to sleep, she wanted to be awake.  I rocked her, sang to her, fed her, but finally just gave up and took the pictures anyway.  Oh well….I think she’s was kinda cute with her little peepers open :)

i think she’s drifting off……………or maybe it was snowflakes hitting her eyes………….

nope, awake again.  But I think that this picture is almost my favorite;  that’s just how she looks up at me when I’m holding her

Finally, after I had the wintery set all put away and fake snow swept up, Sunny finally drifted off.

Dana: Those are darling! I am so lucky to have you for a sister!!

Andrea Pfister: Hey Amy Congratulations! I check out your pics. from time to time & really enjoy your work. Your little girl is beautiful, my little Nora was 5 lb 7 oz. when she was born & it made my heart melt to see Sunny in these pics. at 5.7. Enjoy your little bundle...she's precious.

Jessica: SO Beautiful! I can totally see the boys in the third one. Isn't a little girl soooooo sweet and fun!?!?!?!?!

admin: yes - i'm loving it!
