….but they don’t make the cut for the Don Fiechter family Christmas card –  You’ll have to wait a couple weeks to see what did ;)

changes

November 4, 2011

I just had to post one picture from a session that I’ve been working on this week………so many images I just love…..what a neat family!

Also, be watching for some changes for the 2012 photo season.  Clint and I are still working out the details, praying, deciding where my main focus needs to be, and what that leaves for photography….praying for God’s direction to make the best decisions, not just ok choices.

Vanessa: Ah, I just read your "baby at the feet saying mamama" post. I am very much there right now. It's amazing how fragile my sanity is sometimes. :)

Isch Family

October 5, 2011

We had an absolutely gorgeous morning to take pictures, and while we were waiting on all of the Isch family to arrive, the kids all had such a great time together.  It seems that this family is blessed with love, fun, and, as you can see, lots of people!

kay gerber: what fun to look at all the pics they're wonderful!!!!

we’re all in this together

My boys love to bake, or should I say eat.

Sunny loves to be with her mama.

Add it all up, put us all together, let the kids have at it, and this is what we get – lots of fun and lots of mess

*on a side note, Clint said the cookies were delish, and we only had to pick out two or three egg shells

do you have a favorite?  I lose all objectivity on my own children’s pictures

Sarah F: This is HILARIOUS and SOOO cute. Wow, they are all excellent, but I think my fav is 2nd to last. Such fun moments!

kay gerber: i like the third and second to last really i like em all!!!!!

Jessica: LOL! I love the last one. :)

in the field

September 3, 2011

it’s all about perspective and light – how a field of weeds can look beautiful when the sun shines behind it and there are 4 sweet little girls wearing white dresses playing in it.  So soft and sweet and warm.

Kinda reminds me of how I can become beautiful too; when it’s the light of the Son shining behind me, sparkling, glowing around the edges.  On the other hand, if it was a spotlight shining straight at me, directly lighting myself, it would reveal all of my imperfections, wrinkles and blemishes.     It think I’ll  aim for the first option

this is what it looks like when kids are just done taking pictures
